IT Manager- Bertera Auto Group

Responsibilities:

General Summary: The IT Manager is responsible for maintaining and support all functions of the IT infrastructure of the business. This role must partner and provide support with teams company-wide. This individual is responsible for understanding all IT processes, products and hardware within the Company and must have the ability to problem solve at a fast pace.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide desktop and software support for all employees in the office and in the field, including fulfilling the subject expert and Help Desk requirements
  • Work with third party software and IT providers to ensure seamless service for all critical systems
  • Gather requirements, recommend solutions and implement all corporate IT needs
  • Maintain the functionality and security of the Company’s Wifi and network
  • Provide security and permission access for all Company users
  • Maintain and provide maintenance of all networks and shared files within the Company
  • Keep abreast of new products and technology to elevate IT products and make recommendations on hardware and software standards
  • Own the equipment commission and decommission process. Includes keeping accurate inventories, identifying and executing on equipment that can be repaired, sold or needs to be scrapped

Qualifications:

Job Required Knowledge, Skills and Education:

  • Associated Degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in a computer related curriculum preferred. A minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting and maintaining various computer hardware and desktop software
  • Automotive Dealership experience is preferred.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills needed
  • Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of the following hardware devices and internal components:
    • Personal Computer and Laptops: CPU, Keyboard, Monitor, Mouse
    • Peripherals: Scanners, Check readers, Receipt Printers, Laser Printers, RF-Guns, PDA, Modems, Monitors
    • Audio/Visual Products
  • Knowledge of the following software systems:
    • Window Operating Systems
    • Microsoft Suite
    • Reynolds & Reynolds (Preferred)

Physical/ Travel Requirements:

  • In order to perform the essential functions of this job, an employee must be able to meet the following physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings
